Stranger Things PDF

As you may know, we are fans of Stranger Things here at Drunkards and Dragons, and have done a few posts about the show over the last few months - A Flaw in Stanger Things and Russ’ paint job on the Demogorgon

Now we have news that may interest gamers further, especially newer or younger players.

Hasbro, a well-known toy and game company, has released the rulebook for the Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set as a free PDF download. It is worth noting that Hasbro has a policy of providing downloadable instructions for its board games in case they are lost, and this rulebook is no exception.

This 23-page booklet includes the fundamental rules of the game, and it was originally included in the Stranger Things boxed set a few years ago. While the adventure book, Hunt for the Thessalhydra, is not included in the free download, the rulebook contains plenty of color images from the popular show, including the Thessalhydra monster and the CR4 Demogorgon. It's also important to mention that the Stranger Things set is a Hasbro product rather than a Wizards of the Coast product, who is the publisher of the original Dungeons & Dragons game.

So its time to re-start the Hellfire Club, break out some dice and head back off to Marion Indiana (ironically, my home town growing up - but that is another story for another time).
