New Japanese Iconic D&D Party

Wizards of the Coast has recently announced the upcoming release of Dungeons and Dragons in Japan, which will feature a new "Iconic Party" designed by artist Chomoran. The party is comprised of classic D&D character archetypes, including Cal Skiprock, a lightfoot halfling Rogue, Lafail, a half-elf Cleric of Selune, Atria Dawnguard, a human Fighter, Oldscar, a high elf Wizard, and Turalish, a dragonborn Fighter.

While the new party represents a traditional D&D composition, it differs from current trends in character creation, which often include multiclass options and more Warlocks. However, the pre-generated party for the popular adventure Lost Mine of Phandelver shares the same makeup as the new party, making it an accessible choice for newcomers to the game.

Of course, this being Hasbro/Wizards - The "Iconic Party" will be featured in the upcoming box set release and has already generated excitement within the community, with fans speculating about the possibility of accompanying minis from WizKids.
