Another Money Grab by WotC

WizKids, a company known for producing accessories for tabletop games, is set to release a new accessory called the Deluxe Treasure Chest for Dungeons & Dragons: Onslaught in September 2023. This chest is designed to allow players to carry their loot tokens, item cards, and dice in a stylish and organized manner, particularly for tournaments. The chest, which features pre-painted details and a snap-fit clasp, can also be utilized to store sleeved standard-sized playing cards. It will be available for purchase at a retail price of $19.99.

While some players may find this accessory appealing, I have to question its value and pricing. Similar items can often be found on platforms like Amazon at more affordable prices. Considering WotC and WizKids will slap the logo on anything if it brings them a buck, I have to add this tot he lowest of low. Its just a BOX!

It's important for consumers to consider their preferences and budget before making a purchasing decision. Ultimately, the choice between investing in a specialized accessory like the Deluxe Treasure Chest or opting for more cost-effective alternatives rests with individual players and their personal preferences. Personally, if I had to have something along this line (and believe me, I have bought some crappy products in the past), I would purchase a custom or 3rd party product - thus helping out the small vendors before I shell over $20 FOR A BOX.

They could have least made it a Mimic.
