What gamer doesn’t love maps. We use them all time in our sessions, we look at other maps for inspiration - and in this case, a mapfrom Paramount Studios in 1927, you can see the recommended areas to film in California that will correspond to various locations globally to give the air of actually being some place else.

When you first think about it, you think “no big deal”, until you realize - by doing this, the studio creates a cohesive experience for the viewer. If the guidelines are followed, then the majority of people believe they really are seeing films made in Switzerland, Siberia, Sherwood forest or even Africa…..instead of just California.
